Day 1
(D) – Buenos Aires
Upon reaching the Ezeiza International Airport, you will be
personally escorted by a Patagonia Calling representative to
the Marriott Plaza Hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires. Once
refreshed, you are invited to join in on a private tour of
the city*, relax in the hotel´s sauna, or casually explore
the city´s many parks, plazas, and museums at your own pace.
In the evening, enjoy an exquisite welcome dinner.

Day 2
(B,D) – Buenos Aires/Villa la Angostura
Today you will catch a morning flight from Buenos Aires to
San Carlos de Bariloche, the "Switzerland" of Patagonia and
the heart of the Lake District. Once you have traveled the
short distance to Villa La Angostura and settled yourselves
into El Faro Lodge, you will be invited to relax at the
hotel spa or go into town for some exploring. In the
evening, enjoy a luxurious and romantic candlelit dinner as
soft music plays and the sun begins to get lost behind the
snow-capped mountains. En-suite diners are also available
for those wishing to enjoy the room´s large Jacuzzi tub and
fireplace†. (Fireplace not available in all rooms)

Day 3
(B) – Villa la Angostura
The morning will start out quietly, enjoying
breakfast in the lodge´s comfy restaurant. El Faro, "the
lighthouse," is covered in huge half-moon windows and
overlooks the Nahuel Huapi Lake, providing exquisite views
of the region everywhere you look. After breakfast, indulge
in an intoxicatingly soothing spa treatment at the hotel´s
first-class retreat. After that, venture into the town of
Villa la Angostura, a cozy town founded in 1934 which is
hugged by the Nahuel Huapi, Correntoso and Espejo (Mirror)
lakes. The town´s 12,000 inhabitants welcome about 40,000
thousand tourists per year. The town´s attraction lies in
its charm, beauty and pristine landscape year-round.
Alejandro Bustillo, a prominent architect in the 1900s, had
a heavy hand in building up this little community and his
influence can be found throughout the town.

Day 4
(B) – Villa la Angostura
Today, you will explore the region at your own leisure. Take
time to visit the town or hike around this natural paradise.
The day is yours to see the region as you wish. We can
assist in crafting a days adventure for you.

(B,D) – Villa la Angostura/ El Calafate
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and venture
into San Carlos de Bariloche for a quick stroll into town
before you catch your flight to Calafate, a town in southern
Patagonia known most for its immense and rapid moving
glaciers.Along your drive to the intimate and extremely
private Eolo Lodge, you will catch glimpses of small cracks
from the glaciers floating along the Lago Argentino, which
is a milky turquoise due to the sediment brought on from
glaciers melting.

A country lodge, comfortable and spacious like the ancient
Patagonian "estancias," but benefiting from the modern
comfort.
Day 6
(B,L,D) – El Calafate
Today enjoy Calafate at leisure. Take the opportunity to
visit neighboring estancias like the famous El Galpon del
Glaciar*. Here you will see how Argentine ranchers and sheep
herders live and work at these estancias. Folkloric dances
and traditional asados are prepared for guests on premises.

Day 7
(B,L,D) – El Calafate
This morning enjoy what Calafate is most known
for—glaciers. Tours for those wishing to trek the glaciers
are available. These "mini-treks" take you alongside the
outermost tip of the Perito Moreno Glacier, a truly
captivating journey. The tour requires you to wear crampons
over your shoes and you must be fit and be over ten years of
age. For those wanting a tamer experience, visits to the
Glaciares National Park or a 4x4 tour of the area are also
available*. At the Glaciares National Park you will have the
opportunity to get a birds-eye view of the Perito Moreno
Glacier. This 60 meter high glacier continues to grow even
after 3,000 years and is only one of the 47 glaciers found
in this National Park made up of 1.5 million acres of the
Southern ice field´s continental ice-cap.

Day 8
(B) – El Calafate/Ushuaia
A relaxed morning in bed will be followed with a flight to
Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. You will check
into your hotel, Cumbres del Martial, and be mystified by
the incredible and cozy lodge you will spend the next few
days in. Cumbres´s lodges are large and open with Jacuzzi
tubs surrounded by enormous windows overlooking the thick
forest outside. The afternoon in Ushuaia will be yours to
enjoy at leisure; the area offers great walking paths to
sites overlooking the Beagle Channel Magellan Strait and
also many unique museums highlighting the explorers,
traders, and prisoners who once inhabited the area. You may
also choose to go trekking in the Tierra del Fuego National
Park*, which will offer unparalleled views.
Overnight: Cumbres del Martial
A group of picturesque log cabins set high in the Martial
Mountain Range offering guests views of the mountains, the
Beagle Channel, and the town of Ushuaia.
Day 9 (B,D) – Ushuaia
This morning, after breakfast, we suggest you take a tour of
the Beagle Channel. This is a wonderful chance to see sun
bathing sea lions and playful penguins as they are in their
natural environment. If you´d rather stay on land, we
suggest you stroll the city streets or take the short city
tour. In this southernmost city of Ushuaia, there is a lot
to see and do. A romantic candlelit dinner will be waiting
at the lodge when you return.

Day 10
(B) – Ushuaia/Buenos Aires
After enjoying breakfast in bed, you will catch an early
fight back to Buenos Aires. Unlike your brief first
encounter with the capital city of Argentina, this time you
will have plenty of time to explore and visit key monuments
such as the Japanese gardens, Casa Rosada, and Teatro Colon.
In the evening, you are invited to experience a lively
dinner and tango show*.

Day 11
(B) – Buenos Aires
Enjoy your last few hours in Argentina doing
whatever your heart pleases. Stroll the Recoleta, shop Calle
Florida, or just relax in a cozy café watching the world
pass you by. Your Patagonia Calling representative will
assist you with all of your last minute departure needs.

be 10-70 years old – although this is simply a hike, all
