Voted one of the ten most affordable spas in the world, Ixtapan Spa, Hotel & Golf Resort is located in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. Our destination spa resort is surrounded by unspoiled landscape, picturesque villages, colonial towns and archaeological treasures.    Ixtapan Spa, Hotel and Golf Resort is located 65 miles southwest of Mexico City in the 75 degree year-round rapture of the surrounding Sierra Madre mountains.

At 5400 feet above sea level, this 220- room resort is heralded as one of the cheapest in the world, and you'll be able to figure that out once you do the math, with or without a tape measure.

What's great about Ixtapan Spa is the sheer number of spa treatments included in the programs. Take the weeklong trip for instance, and you will get 15 or more spa treatments, including massages and facials, averaging 50 minutes each.

No matter how long you stay, your visit will also include all meals and most beverages, several pilates, yoga and fitness classes, as well as free golf and tennis lessons.

Round-trip airport transfers cost $340, for up to four people from Mexico City. Transfer from Toluca is $170. There is also a local bus from Mexico City airport.

There are a few extras you will pay for, including laundry, alcoholic drinks, soda, taxes and gratuities.

New Holistic Spa:

The current destination spa remains our primary facility providing all treatments for spa program guests. This new spa is an addition to our services and caters to our holistic treatments, aside from those included in the programs. The concept is a unique combination of natural elements, luxurious appointments , superb service and outstanding treatments. But as you know, all of the above is provided at a reasonable price, consistent with our focus on delivering value.

All rates include accommodations, programs and meals, add 17% tax.

FACILITIES:
Full resort amenities with 18 hole championship golf course, lighted tennis courts, swimming pools, whirlpools, 7 acres of lush gardens, fitness center, 2 bars and movie theater. Also a unique feature which opened recently; 8,000 sq foot Holistic Spa offering a luxury setting, independent of our current destination spa.

MEAL PLAN:
All programs include gourmet spa cuisine or international choices in either of our 2 restaurants. The spa meal plan is nutritionally balanced, low calorie and served with exquisite taste.

SERVICES:
Amenities of a four star hotel including concierge, house doctor, programmed activities and many lessons. Optional guided tours to several nearby attractions. Such as colonial towns, natural caverns, archeological sites and typical market places.

TRANSFERS:
Round trip private airport transfers from Mexico City $340.00 USD and Toluca $170.00 USD. Rates are per vehicle ( 1-4 passengers ) and provided in recent model vans and sedans.
