Day 1 (D) –
Buenos Aires
Upon reaching the Ezeiza International Airport, you will be
personally escorted by a representative to the Sofitel Puerto
Madero in the heart of Buenos Aires. After you have a chance to
freshen up, you are invited to join in on a private tour of the
city*, or an opportunity to explore the city´s many parks,
plazas, and museums on your own or with a guide. Dinner will be
served at the hotel to give you your first sampling of some of
the exquisite Argentine cuisine.
Overnight: Sofitel Puerto Madero
A fashionable new hotel in the chic Puerto Madero district.
Day 2 (B,D) – Buenos Aires/Villa la Angostura
Today you will catch a morning flight from Buenos Aires to
Bariloche, the "Switzerland" of South America and the heart of
the Lake District. Once you have traveled the short distance to
Villa la Angostura, also known as the "Garden of Patagonia,"
settle yourself into the El Faro Lodge. This stunning lodge
overlooks the Nahuel Huapi Lake and has a pristine view of the
region. Settle in and, if you wish, relax at the hotel spa with
one of the spa´s many available therapies! After you have a
chance to relax, enjoy a luxurious candlelit dinner as the sun
begins to get lost behind the snow-capped mountains. After
dinner, relax in front of a cozy fire in your bedroom†.

A stunning hotel that combines the natural beauty of the area
with all the comforts of a luxury resort.
Day 3 (B,D) – Villa la Angostura
Whether you decide to sleep in, or are up with the sunrise,
there will be a full day´s worth of activities for those who so
desire. In the morning, you are encouraged to take a tour of the
city* and see why this town is known for its fine handicrafts
and homemade jams. Horseback riding, hiking, sailing, and
mountain biking are also available for a more exhilarating way
to see Patagonia. Be sure not to miss Bayo Hill and the Bonito
River Waterfall, two of the area´s main and most stunning
attractions. Following lunch, you will be escorted to Villa
Traful for panoramic views of the village and surrounding areas.
Tonight, a relaxing dinner will be served at the hotel. Spend
the rest of the evening enjoying a bottle of fine Argentine wine
under the stars.

Day 4 (B) – Villa la Angostura
This morning you will set out on an adventure to Arrayanes
National Park. This park is filled with the unique cinnamon
colored Arrayanes trees making it incomparable to any other
forest. Lunch is on your own this afternoon, and afterwards,
explore the luxurious shops in Angostura, with the best
traditional artesian goods, gourmet chocolate and fine leather.
Overnight: El Faro
Day 5 (B,L,D) – Villa la Angostura/San Carlos de
Bariloche/El Calafate
After a leisurely morning, you will be taken to Bariloche to
enjoy a lovely lunch at the famous Patacon restaurant. This is
one of Bariloche´s most famous restaurants and is frequented by
many celebrities visiting the area. Just a few years ago, former
President Bill Clinton was a guest of honor there. And be sure
to check out the enormous hearth on the side of the restaurant.
After lunch, catch a short flight to Calafate, a town in
southern Patagonia known for being the area where the majestic
mountains, green forests and milky turquoise lakes meet the icy
blue glaciers that appear to go on for thousands of miles.

A country lodge, comfortable and spacious like the ancient
Patagonian "estancias", but benefiting from the modern comfort.
Day 6 (B,L,D) – El Calafate
Of all the days spent in majestic Patagonia, this is bound to be
one of your favorites. Today, you will depart for a hike and
picnic in the Los Glaciares National Park. For the truly
adventurous, join a small group as they hike on the edge of the
Perito Moreno glacier´s peak for an experience you will never
forget (Mini-trekking). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to view this impressive blue-greenish glacier sparkling under
the midday sun with towering mountains in the backdrop. After
this incredible experience, you will return to your hotel for a
cozy dinner and some star gazing through the lodge´s
high-powered telescope.
Overnight: Eolo Lodge
Day 7 (B,L,D) – El Calafate
Spend a relaxing day at the beautiful Eolo Lodge. Here you will
be able to spend your day trekking, riding, or just enjoying the
scenery. Dinner will be at the hotel this evening as you wind
down the day in the comforts of this remote lodge. A relaxing
bath or a glass of wine in the wine room will be just what you
need before falling into a deep sleep.

Day 8 (B) – El Calafate/Ushuaia
You will say goodbye to the lovely City of Glaciers this morning
as you depart for the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia.
Upon arrival, you will check into Los Yamanas Hotel and enjoy
the afternoon at your leisure. You may want to stroll down a
walking path along the Beagle Channel Magellan Strait
overlooking a beautiful mountain view.
Overnight: Los Yamanas
A picturesque hotel set along the bank of the Beagle Channel,
offering guests an amazing view of the end-of-the-world.
Day 9 (B) – Ushuaia
Today, you can spend your day doing whatever your heart desires.
We suggest a boat ride in the Beagle Channel in search of sea
lions and penguins. If you would rather, a city tour is also
available or you may just explore the city at your own pace.
Overnight: Los Yamanas
Day 10 (B, D) – Ushuaia/Buenos Aires
An early breakfast will be followed by a flight up to Buenos
Aires. Your entire afternoon will be free to enjoy all that this
capital city has to offer. But be sure to save some energy for
tonight in order to have dinner and catch a live tango show and
gain a better understanding of why Argentineans consider this
dance such a part of their cultural identity.
Overnight: Sofitel Puerto Madero
Day 11 (B) – Buenos Aires
Today, whether you decide to stroll through local shops and
markets for unique Argentine souvenirs or spend the day touring
the diverse neighborhoods, you will run out of time before you
run out of things to do. Early in the afternoon, a
representative will return to your hotel and escort you back to
the airport. Your trip may be over; but the experience, we
assure you, you will never forget.
