Day 1: Abu Dhabi
Arrival at Abu Dhabi airport. Meet & Greet by our
representative. After you pick up your luggage transfer to your
hotel by an air conditioned car or coach. Overnight in Abu
Dhabi.
Day 2: Abu Dhabi
Breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards you can book an optional
half day city tour of the modern metropolis of Abu Dhabi. This
city is the largest within and the capital of the United Arab
Emirates. Abu Dhabi means "Father of the Gazelle". You will
visit the women's handicraft centre where you can admire the
women's handiwork while producing the traditional goods. Next
stop will be at the oldest building in town, the palace of
Al-Husn. In an exhibition, you will later get introduced to the
history of the "Black Gold" in the region. The tour continues
along the Corniche, the coastal road, where you stop at a
traditional dhow yard. Here you can discover how the wooden
Arabian dhows are built and repaired.
In the early afternoon you will return to your hotel. The rest
of the day is at your disposal. Overnight in Abu Dhabi.
Day 3: Abu Dhabi - Sandy Desert - Abu Dhabi (500 km)
Breakfast at your hotel. Free morning. In the early afternoon
you should take the opportunity to join an optional desert
safari. You will pass the endless and spectacular sandy desert
in off road vehicles. In the evening, you will reach a
traditional Bedouin desert camp with traditional Arabic music,
an unforgettable experience. In the late evening, you will
return to your hotel. Overnight in Abu Dhabi.
Day 4: Abu Dhabi - Dubai - Sharjah - Abu Dhabi (400 km)
Breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards you will have the
opportunity to discover the spectacular and lively metropolis of
Dubai and Sharjah during a full-day excursion. Dubai, developed
from a small fishing village at the Dubai Creek, nowadays
presents itself as a glamorous metropolis at the Arabian Gulf.
The distinctive skyscrapers and gigantic shopping-malls will
impress every visitor. On your way, you will visit the
awe-inspiring Grand Mosque Jumeirah, which is also open to
non-Muslim visitors. After this experience you will continue on
to Bastakyia, the old town district of Dubai. Learn everything
about the local history and geography of the city when visiting
the Dubai museum, located in the ancient fortress of Al-Fahidi.
Another highlight will follow: you will use the local water
taxis, called "Abras", will cross the Dubai Creek. Enjoy the
spectacular view of the city while heading towards the district
of Deira. Here you will be enchanted by the large variety of
exotic spices in the famous Spice Souk. Take the chance to get a
unique and affordable souvenir when you visit the adjacent Gold
Souk. The tour continues to the city of Sharjah, well known as
"cultural capital of the Emirates". You will see the Pearl
Monument and discover the restored old town. You will visit the
historic fortress of Al-Hisn and the unique King Faisal mosque.
One of today's highlights is the exciting Blue Souk, where more
than 600 local traders offer their goods. Transfer back to your
hotel. Overnight in Abu Dhabi.
Day 5: Abu Dhabi
Breakfast in your hotel. This day is at your disposal. Stroll
through downtown of visit one of the shopping malls to get your
souvenir. Depending on your time of departure, during the day
transfer to the airport. Departure.
